Hi April Star Family, Spring is here, and with it comes new life, fresh energy, and more dogs getting the second chance they deserve. Since January 1, April Star has helped 46 dogs find safe and loving homes. That is 46 dogs who were at risk, 46 new beginnings, and 46 reminders of what can happen when people come together to help. Every adoption matters. Behind each one is a dog who needed care, transport, safety, and time. Your support has helped make that possible.

As December comes to a close, we’re delighted to share that adoptions and overall interest in April Star’s mission have grown significantly this month. We’ve also formed new alliances that help us carefully vet potential adopters and ensure every dog finds the right home. Looking ahead, our upcoming adoption events will focus on finding loving homes for larger dogs and extending our rescue efforts to several high-risk shelters some of which have been heartbreaking to discover
