Finding Forever Homes: How Growth in Adoptions Reflects Our Mission at April Star

As October comes to a close, we’re delighted to share that adoptions and overall interest in April Star’s mission have grown significantly this month. We’ve also formed new alliances that help us carefully vet potential adopters and ensure every dog finds the right home.

Looking ahead, our upcoming adoption events will focus on finding loving homes for larger dogs and extending our rescue efforts to several high-risk shelters some of which have been heartbreaking to discover.

We are deeply grateful to our adopters, supporters, veterinary partners, and volunteers for helping us continue this important work.
