Hi April Star Family,

Spring is here, and with it comes new life, fresh energy, and more dogs getting the second chance they deserve.

Since January 1, April Star has helped 46 dogs find safe and loving homes. That is 46 dogs who were at risk, 46 new beginnings, and 46 reminders of what can happen when people come together to help.

Every adoption matters. Behind each one is a dog who needed care, transport, safety, and time. Your support has helped make that possible.

Star of the Month: Darcie

Darcie is one of our beautiful rescue dogs from this year. She was rescued from a shelter earlier in 2026 and is now waiting for the right person or family to find her.

She represents so much of what this work is about, hope, resilience, and the chance for a different future.

April Star Adoption Foundation is entirely volunteer-run. Everyone involved, from transport to coordination to day-to-day support, gives their time because they care deeply about these dogs and the lives they deserve.
