Maggie and her family were abandoned on the streets of Kern County, hungry, thirsty, and trying to survive in the heat. Volunteers stepped in with food, water, and care — and we quickly rescued them.

During her spay procedure, vets discovered Maggie had a serious infection, but with treatment, she made a full recovery. Though the family was scared at first, they’re now safe and slowly learning to trust again.

Maggie is observant, intelligent, and deeply loyal. She has completed her training and continues to thrive in a calm, patient environment where she can build trust at her own pace.
